There is no excuse for domestic violence. Families First recognizes that Family violence is real and at no point in time should anyone condone real acts of Family violence. Families First has assisted agencies in holding real batterers accountable.
Tragically, however, there have also been false allegations of family violence. The devastation caused to families who have one family member falsely accuse another family member tragically occurs in our society. Families First listens to people that believe they have been falsely accused and make referrals if appropriate to professionals who provide services to those families who have been subjected to false allegations.
